Dimar Manufacturing Receives “Large Business Of The Year” Award

Dimar Manufacturing is proud to announce that we’ve been awarded the Clarence Chamber of Commerce 2023 Large Business Of The Year Award. Dimar has been a part of the manufacturing community since 1993 and is continuously reinvesting in the business to expand its growth.

From the beginning, Dimar has encouraged a family-friendly environment. In 1993 Dimar Manufacturing Corp was founded in a business incubator in Lackawanna, NY by Jack Wagner and Robert Smyzcyski. “Dimar” was named for their wives, Diane and Marion (Di-Mar.) The company soon moved to its present location on Main Street in Clarence, NY in 1995.

In 2003 the company was purchased by Greg Fry, General Manager and Tom Kowalski, Controller. Greg is currently President and Tom is Vice President/C.F.O. In 2012 Dimar purchased a spin-off of the former Buffalo Forge which makes large industrial blowers and other heavy gauge fabrications. Currently, there are 145 team members with plans to add 20 more.

Dimar is the custom contract manufacturer of sheet metal-based products in the Buffalo, NY area. Its continuous reinvestment in state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment has driven its success and, of course, a team dedicated to serving customers with outstanding service.

The company has donated material for things like the scoreboard at Clarence High School, decorative metal signs that you see through the Clarence area, and even did the powder coating for the Jaws Of Life for the Clarence Fire Department.

Dimar looks forward to our further expansion in Clarence with a new facility getting built in Q1 2024.
